Let’s not call it a philosophy, let’s call it an idea. Small, cute frames always sold well at IMAGO but they did not attract purists. This triggered the i-spax idea's birth.
In 1999 at MIDO the collection was first presented. i-spax rounds off IMAGO’s greater picture with its reduced and puristic style. Owing to the clean designs and colors as well as interesting technical details the frames became bestsellers within the first few years.
i-spax is intended for those who love pure, reduced designs and interesting technical innovations. We accentuate clean, modern designs in stainless steel, titanium, acetate and new nickel-free materials.
The basic idea for this collection is simplicity and purism. Therefore all i-spax models have short – mainly English – names which can be easily pronounced internationally.
